Quiff & Co International Ltd

This contract is made between Quiff & Co supplier named in the schedule (Quiff ) who is the proprietor of Quiff & Co business, and the client named in the schedule ( the customer )

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING ONLINE

  1. Quiff & Co intends to rely upon the written terms set out here and on other pages of this contract document. If you require any changes, please make sure that you ask for these to be put in writing. In that way, any problems surrounding what Quiff & Co and you ( the customer) are expected to do can be avoided. In order to be valid and binding, any and all such variations, additions, or amendments must be approved in writing by a member of Quiff & Co team.

Each Quiff & Co hair unit is made up of ethically sourced human hair. The human hair unit is attached to a flexible fine membrane. The hair unit is attached to your own person by any of the methods specified in the fitting schedule. You are strongly advised to use (Hair Glue) by Quiff & Co and maintenance products included in Quiff & Co Hair Maintenance Kit.

Whilst not being a condition, you are strongly recommended to use the Quiff & Co maintenance programme for the care and service of your hair unit. This service replaces your existing hair care arrangements and should be undertaken at any Quiff & Co approved salons every 4-8 weeks. The Quiff & Co maintenance programme  is designed to promote the appearance and maximise  the life of the hair system.

The current price of the standard maintenance service is set out in the schedule to the contact.

1) Quiff & Co International Ltd agrees to:

  1. Supply to the customer, the stock designed and manufactured hair system as described in the description on quiff.co.uk.
  2. Arrange express shipping or schedule a fitting date for the completed stock unit. Once the balance is cleared in full.
  3. Provide the Quiff & Co maintenance service at the Quiff & Co salon for the care, refashion and servicing of the hair replacement units.
  4. Provide three (3) months notice at each Quiff & Co salon of any increase in prices for maintenance and other services.

2) The Customer Agrees to:

  1. To pay Quiff & Co the balance of the purchase price set out in the order
  2. To pay any local import duties /taxes to receive their order.

3) Durability & Warranties

The durability and longevity of the stock hair unit is affected by several factors but principally by the care and maintenance provided for the unit, by both Quiff & Co and the customer.

The membrane of the unit and the attachment of the hair to the unit are guaranteed against faulty workmanship for a period of 3 months providing the unit base has not been altered. The hair colour is guaranteed for 1 month after initial fitting.

4) Care and Maintenance

The useful life of a Quiff Hair Replacement is maximised by :-

  1. The customer adhering to the written in and at home maintenance protocol recommended by Quiff hair replacements.
  2. The customer attending a Quiff & Co studio /salon for all refusions, servicing etc. In respect of the Quiff & Co Hair replacement unit at the recommended intervals  4-8 weeks

5) International Delivery

If you order products from our platform for delivery to an International Delivery Destinations, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. Please note that Quiff & Co have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount.

5a) The customer will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

5b) You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. Quiff & Co will not be liable or responsible if you break any such law.

6) Termination 

The contract may be terminated by the customer within the time frames applicable. The time frame is by which time that the hair system is put into production (custom piece). Once this is is in production we are unable to cancel any order.

    1. Contract terminated within 14 days of purchase -
      Full contract value providing the hair is returned to Quiff & Co unopened.
    2. Contract terminated prior to fitting -
      15% of the full contract value providing the hair is returned to Quiff & Co, 15% is retained to cover UK and international couriers costs.

      These costs will be deducted from the amount of the deposit and any balance paid by the customer. No refund will be issued if and when the hair or base has been used, worn, altered or cut.

Whilst not being a condition, you are strongly recommended to use the Quiff & Co maintenance programme for the care and service of your hair unit. This service replaces your existing hair care arrangements and should be undertaken at any Quiff & Co approved salons every 4-8 weeks. The Quiff & Co maintenance programme  is designed to promote the appearance and maximise  the life of the hair system.

7) Quiff & Co International Ltd agrees to:

  1. Supply to the customer, the custom designed and manufactured hair system as described in the works order form held by Quiff & Co.
  2. Fit the (initial) hair system bought by the customer by attaching it to the customers scalp by methods which are set out in the fitting schedule. Or express ship completed product to the customer if required.
  3. Provide the Quiff & Co maintenance service at the Quiff & Co salon for the care, refashion and servicing of the hair replacement units.
  4. Provide three (3) months notice at each Quiff & Co salon of any increase in prices for maintenance and other services.

8) The Customer Agrees to:

  1. To pay Quiff & Co the deposit discussed in the initial consultation at the signing of this contract.
  2. To pay the balance of the purchase price set out in the order. Unless for any reason the contract has been terminated by Quiff & Co, on the earlier of the following dates.
  3. To pay any local import duties /taxes to receive their order. Should Quiff & Co be requested to send the completed products internationally.
  4. The date that the initial fitting of the hair system is completed
  5. Or, four ( 4 ) weeks from the date that Quiff & Co advises the customer that hair unit is available for fitting , if no fitting date has been arrange within that time.

9) Durability and Warranties

The durability and longevity of the hair unit is affected by several factors but principally by the care and maintenance provided for the unit, by both Quiff & Co and the customer.

The membrane of the unit and the attachment of the hair to the unit are guaranteed against faulty workmanship for a period of 3 months after the initial fitting. Further hair may be re - vented into the unit at appropriate periods. The hair colour is guaranteed for 1 month after initial fitting.

10) Care and Maintenance

The useful life of a Quiff Hair Replacement is maximised by :-

  1. The customer adhering to the written in and at home maintenance protocol recommended by Quiff hair replacements.
  2. The customer attending a Quiff & Co studio /salon for all refusions, servicing etc. In respect of the Quiff & Co Hair replacement unit at the recommended intervals  4-8 weeks

11) Production Lead Times

  1. Standard production times for a bespoke unit are between 8-10 weeks
  2. Standard production times are subject to change depending on circumstances and complexity of the design.
  3. Covid19 edit (production times are delayed to a current standard time of 12-16 weeks and are still subject to change)

12) International Delivery

If you order products from our platform for delivery to an International Delivery Destinations, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. Please note that Quiff & Co have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount.

12a) The customer will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

12b) You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. Quiff & Co will not be liable or responsible if you break any such law.


13) Termination 

The contract may be terminated by the customer within the time frames applicable. The time frame is by which time that the hair system is put into production (custom piece). Once this is is in production we are unable to cancel any order.

  1. Contract terminated within 14 days of purchase -
    15% of the full contract value will be retained by Quiff & Co to cover design consultation, preparation of work order and administration, UK and international couriers cost and manufacturer's cancellation fee.
  2. Contract terminated after manufacturing has commenced but prior to completion
    30% of the full contract value will be retained by Quiff & Co to cover above and manufacture's changes for raw materials and labour expended on partial manufacture and studio overhead costs.
  3. Contract terminated after manufacturing has been completed but prior to fitting -
    90% of the full contract value will be retained by Quiff & Co to cover all above costs and manufacturer's charge for the product.

    These costs will be deducted from the amount of the deposit and any balance paid by the customer.
